Abstract
This exploratory study
seeks for understanding the strategies
in learning english and understanding the types of strategies in learning
english. This research will discuss
about how learning strategies that are
not specially taught use for learning a second language. There are
different language learning strategies and many people has different language
learning strategies. Therefore, this research aims to find an effective
learning strategies that is often used by students in Faculty of Language Education of UMY. This reseach will
use questionaire method, which is 15 students of Faculty of Language Education in UMY (5 students of PBI,
5 students of PBA, and 5 students of PBJ).
